#2 - Embrace you Inner McGyver

Have something broken? A rip in your jeans, holes in your favourite socks, a busted lamp? You can fix just about everything with the right tools. Two things I can’t live without: my hammer and some really good glue. You can even head on over to YouTube.com for fix-it instructions and then to your local hardware store to make sure you are doing things right (and safely). Simpler things like darning holes in socks have been done by our mums, grandmothers and others before us, so bring DIY back in style Wilmas!

The key to success? Invest in the right tools – every Wilma (and general person) needs a tool box. Sewing kit, hammer, screwdriver, nails, screws, paperclips, safety pins and some GOOP adhesive will just about fix whatever ails you. Having the right resources, makes fixing achievable for every Wilma, and saves you money from having to replace it.
